Inside the mannequin, Mohanlal fitted an AI assistant that can interact with children. Thanks to a servo motor, she can blink her eyes, move her lips while speaking, and even show expressions, which makes her feel surprisingly real to the students. Mohanlal named her “Suman Madam,” and in May this year, she began teaching at the Composite School in Rajapur village.
A Miracle for School Attendance
The impact of her presence in the classroom was immediate. Before she arrived, only about 65 percent of students used to attend classes. But once AI Madam started teaching, the attendance jumped to an incredible 95 percent. The children became so excited about their new robotic teacher that they didn’t want to miss school anymore.
